Friends & Family -

We hope you're well and excited to hear news from families who have returned to the adoption process with your financial support. We are so thankful for your generosity and look forward to sharing more news with you from families on our waiting list! If you're interested in getting this newsletter via email, please join our mailing list.

Our Families:

We continue to keep up with Stephanie & Joseph, Jill & Charlie,  Brooke & Mathew, Brianna & Tyler, Jessica & Chris, Caryn & Sam, and Nicole & Eric. All of their babies are healthy and thriving! We ask for your continued prayers for Naomi & Zach who are now back in the process but are awaiting another placement. Please keep them in your thoughts as they wait for another opportunity to grow their family.

We have an wonderful update to share from Abby & Josh. They finalized the adoption of their son Oliver at the end of May. This means they are now legally Oliver's mom and dad.

"Oliver is almost 8 months old, 20 pounds, and loves his dogs. This summer we went to Colorado, visited our first national park, and have been spending a lot of time at the pool. He is a smiley and happy boy unless he is hungry. He recently started crawling!"

We'd also like to introduce you to someone new! Kaylan & Jon experienced a disrupted match last fall but thanks in part to your generosity were able to welcome Hannah in June. They've had an incredible journey facing tremendous challenges and we are so happy for them. Please keep them on your heart as they await finalization. To learn more about their story and what your support as meant, please visit their post on our blog.

"As we sat in the hospital waiting room, we were told she had changed her mind. Our hearts sank. While we were thankful that both she and the baby were healthy—and that she felt empowered to parent—we were devastated. We returned to Chicago with an empty car seat and heavy hearts. In this disrupted adoption, we lost over $20,000.

About a month later, we slowly and cautiously started to look at adoption cases again. It quickly became clear that the financial burden of starting over would be nearly impossible. That’s when our consultant introduced us to Disruptive Hope. Hearing their story and mission was a powerful reminder that we weren’t alone. When they offered to support us—not only emotionally, but financially—we were overcome with gratitude.

Just four months later, we were matched again. This past June, we met our precious daughter, Hannah Grace. Thanks to the incredible support from Disruptive Hope, we now get to witness the miracle of her life every single day. Just this past week, she smiled for the first time! We are forever grateful for the part Disruptive Hope has played in our story."

We're learning about the best ways to do this as we go and would love any advice you have to share at disruptive.hope.fund@gmail.com. Thank you all for your continued love and support!
